credits

released August 28, 2015

Created and produced between April and August 2015 by Greg Johnson. Layout/photography by Greg Johnson.

A big thank you to my niece Katie for the use of her pink electric guitar. I tried very hard to make it sound not pink.

Many thanks also to Steve Reich, Negativland and Don Joyce, David Torn, Throbbing Gristle, Trent Reznor, Sonic Youth, Geir Jenssen, The Beatles, Robert Fripp, Harold Budd and Brian Eno for doing what they’ve done.

The title “My Head is Strung Like Beads Around a Savage Day” was taken from a letter by Charles Bukowski.

This album is dedicated to my father, Rawley Ranger Johnson (1935-2015). Among other things, he showed me that you can find your very own music to listen to and enjoy and love in spite of what others might think of it; had I not learned that, this album would not exist.
